Dale Gilson joined Tyre Stewardship Australia Ltd in January 2017. Prior to this, Dale held a number of CEO positions which included time at the Society of Automotive Engineers - Australasia, Motorcycling Australia, Speedway Australia and Four Wheel Drive Victoria.
Prior to making this transition, Dale worked in the family business for 13 years, which existed for over 50 years and 3 generations overseeing the sales, servicing and hiring of office equipment before being sold in 1999.
Dale has a completed Masters in Business Administration (MBA), Australian Institute of Company Directors Diploma, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Studies. Dale is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) and a Member of the Australasian Society of Association Executives (AuSAE). Dale is also the President of the Ringwood & District Cricket Association.
Accreditation and Compliance Manager, Jade Barnaby
Jade is the Accreditation and Compliance Manager at TSA. Jade has 10 years of waste and recycling industry experience, having worked collaboratively across industry, all levels of government and communities.
In her most recent role prior to TSA, Jade was the Product Stewardship Lead for Sustainability Victoria, where she managed and progressed the stewardship of several difficult waste products including paint, batteries, household chemicals, e-waste and tyres.
Jade holds a MA (Environment and Sustainability) from Monash University and a BSc (Agricultural Sciences) from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
Market Development Manager, Liam O'Keefe
Liam O’Keefe is the Market Development Manager at TSA. Liam is a recognised industry leader having spent almost 15 years working across the waste and recycling, energy, education and business sectors.
He has worked extensively in local and state government, is a Churchill Fellow, lectures at RMIT University and has managed his own business for over 8 years developing innovative sustainably oriented business initiatives in Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
Marketing and Communications Manager, Meagan Hill
Meagan is the Marketing and Communications Manager at TSA. Meagan has 7 years’ marketing experience in the resource recovery industry across several waste streams including tyres, commercial and industrial, and construction and demolition streams.
She has worked in industrial marketing arena for over 15 years, incorporating sustainable initiatives into strategic development and has a keen interest in resource recovery and construction markets.
Meagan has a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from Swinburne University and a Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (Marketing) from Curtin University.
Finance and Administration Manager
Marissa is the Finance and Administration Manager at TSA. Marissa has 18 years experience in accounting and office managerial roles.
Prior to starting at Tyre Stewardship Australia, Marissa was the Financial Controller for four years at Adams Food Group; an external sales management company for one of Australia’s largest recognised integrated supermarket chains.
Before taking on the FC role, Marissa lived and travelled abroad. During this time, she was employed as the EA to the Finance Bursar at Balliol College, an academic College in the heart of Oxford, UK.
