Nick Williams - Director of Market Development and Innovation

Nick joined Tyre Stewardship Australia (TSA) as Director of Market Development and Innovation, in July 2022.

Nick has more than 30 years of strategic commercial and business leadership experience working across multiple sectors including Waste Management & Recycling, Education, Construction and Civil Infrastructure, Building Automation Systems and the FMCG industry, in senior sales and operations roles.

Nick began his career in the UK waste industry, spanning over 15 years, working for Veolia including roles in Sales and Operations, managing several commercial collection depots across Hereford and South Wales.

Moving to Australia in 2005, Nick managed the National sales function at Visy Recycling for 6 years and was fundamental in the growth of the National Accounts portfolio providing waste and recycling solutions.

With a passion for creating a strong and sustainable circular economy, Nick has also held senior commercial roles with organisations such as Honeywell, Melbourne Business School and Monash University building high performance teams, developing and implementing business growth strategies.
