What we do

Driving sustainable outcomes for Australia's used tyres is our priority.

We run the national and voluntary Tyre Product Stewardship Scheme (TPSS) to help reduce the environmental, health and safety impacts of tyres which reach their end of life in Australia.

Project will provide Gap Graded product as specified by CALTRANS (California) to be an alternative, equivalent product locally used Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA) for both Local and State Governments. The project will demonstrate crumb rubber use in South Australia in a wide range of road base conditions and user circumstances.

Each trial site will consist of two adjacent road sections. One 200 metre section will contain high crumb rubber mix and the other consist of standard asphalt. The roads will be tested for resistance to rutting, susceptibility to cracking and moisture damage over a minimum of two years. This project will showcase how recycled crumb rubber mix functions as an alternative product for both Local and State Governments.
