Australia's Tyre Stewardship Data Hub Now Live

Tyre Stewardship Australia (TSA) is proud to announce the launch of Australia's Tyre Stewardship Data Hub, a new national resource designed to provide government, industry and other stakeholders with greater visibility of Australia's tyre lifecycle.

Powered by TSA's Material Flow Analysis (MFA) Model, the Data Hub brings together tyre stewardship data in one accessible platform, offering insights into how tyres move through the Australian economy. From tyre consumption and use through to recovery, processing and disposal, the Hub provides a transparent picture of the country's tyre material flows and supports more informed decision-making across the sector.

As Australia's first tyre stewardship data platform of its kind, the Data Hub has been developed to help stakeholders better understand current performance, identify emerging trends and pinpoint opportunities for improvement. The platform supports evidence-based planning and provides a valuable tool for organisations looking to strengthen resource recovery outcomes and advance circular economy objectives.

The data also highlights an important challenge facing the sector. While tyre recovery continues to grow, a gap remains between recovery and true circularity. Recovering materials is only part of the solution. Creating stronger end markets, increasing the procurement of tyre-derived products and supporting policies that keep valuable resources in productive use are critical next steps in building a more circular tyre economy.
