What we do

Driving sustainable outcomes for Australia's used tyres is our priority.

We run the national and voluntary Tyre Product Stewardship Scheme (TPSS) to help reduce the environmental, health and safety impacts of tyres which reach their end of life in Australia.

Media Announcement: Major Senate Inquiry recognises strong future for tyre recycling

Tyre Stewardship Australia (TSA) welcomes the Senate Inquiry’s No Time to Waste report, backing a strong future for tyre recycling and a national circular economy.

The report calls for:

  • A Circular Economy Act
  • More fully regulated product stewardship schemes
  • A cohesive national approach to waste management and the transition to a circular economy

TSA CEO Lina Goodman says: “The time for voluntary schemes has passed. It’s time for decisive action to create a level playing field and unlock a $26 billion opportunity for Australia’s economy.”

Let’s build a circular, stronger Australia together.
