What we do

Driving sustainable outcomes for Australia's used tyres is our priority.

We run the national and voluntary Tyre Product Stewardship Scheme (TPSS) to help reduce the environmental, health and safety impacts of tyres which reach their end of life in Australia.

Rubber Surface Coatings

Rubber-based surface coatings made from end-of-life tyres offer a safe, durable and decorative solution for high-traffic areas. Products such as Safe T Rubber Coat and Safe T Rubber Coat Stable Grip, manufactured by Coloured Recycle Group, repurpose TDM into versatile coatings for residential, commercial and industrial use.

These coatings deliver a non-slip, easy-to-maintain finish and can be applied directly to a variety of substrates including concrete, asphalt, brick pavers, timber, and metal. They are available in a wide range of colours—from classic neutrals to bold tones — allowing for functional safety and aesthetic flexibility.

Safe T Rubber Coat

A high-performance coating ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications, including:

  • Walkways and stairways
  • Patios and alfresco areas
  • Shopping centres and hospitals
  • Industrial kitchens and workshops
  • Office floors and sporting facilities
  • Pool surrounds and decking
  • Sporting change rooms

Safe T Rubber Coat Stable Grip

Designed specifically for racing and equestrian industries, this seamless, cushioned coating provides a non-slip alternative to traditional rubber matting—reducing the risk of lift and trip hazards. It can be applied to a thickness of 10mm or more, offering a safer, more stable surface for horses, handlers, and equipment.

These coatings contribute to the circular economy by transforming waste tyres into practical, protective infrastructure — supporting safer spaces and sustainable design.
