What we do

Our mission is to maximise the circular value of the resources in used tyres.

We run the national and voluntary Tyre Product Stewardship Scheme (TPSS) to help reduce the environmental, health and safety impacts of end-of-life tyres in Australia.

Carlos Perez is a data analyst with strong technical capability across data modelling, transformation and visualisation. As Data Analyst at Tyre Stewardship Australia (TSA), he supports the organisation’s role as a trusted source of data on Australia’s circular tyre economy by analysing industry information and generating insights that inform evidence-based decision-making across the tyre recovery and recycling sector.

Carlos joined TSA in 2026 and ensures the organisation’s reporting, research and stakeholder insights are accurate, transparent and actionable. He contributes analytical rigour to key projects, including material flow analysis and sector reporting, while maintaining and continuously improving TSA’s core datasets and models. He also helps inform stakeholders across government, research, recycling, retail and manufacturing who are working towards better outcomes for end-of-life tyres.

Carlos joined TSA to apply his data analysis and technical skills to purpose-led work that improves Australia’s transition to a circular tyre economy.

Carlos’ expertise spans Excel, Power Query, Python, Power BI, SQL, data transformation and data visualisation. He is particularly skilled at turning complex datasets into practical, accessible insights for non-technical audiences.
