Nicole Cook

Market Development Advocacy Manager

Nicole Cook is an experienced professional trained as a Chemical Engineer with years of experience in the oil refining industry spanning technical, operations, environmental and risk management. As the Market Development Advocacy Manager at Tyre Stewardship Australia (TSA) since June 2026, Nicole identifies opportunities to support local manufacturers utilising tyre derived materials (TDM and helps build strategies to increase demand for products made by the Australian Tyre Recycling industry.

Nicole joined TSA in 2021 as the Accreditation and Compliance Manager and has supported the implementation of TSA's Information Security Management system to achieve ISO-27001 certification and is responsible for the operation of the Foreign End Market Verification program. In 2024 Nicole moved into the Market Development team as the manager of the MD Fund where she supported the development of innovative Australian solutions to increase tyre resource recovery, helping organisations to navigate the pathway from concept to measurable market outcomes and promoting the local manufacturers whose products contain Australian tyre-derived materials.

Nicole brings technical understanding and practical experience, an eye for detail, a systematic approach and above all enthusiasm for promoting a circular tyre economy and the emission-reduction opportunities it offers.
