Silvio de Denaro

Silvio de Denaro (BA Hons) has served as Company Secretary of Tyre Stewardship Australia since its establishment.

A graduate of the University of Sussex (UK), where he completed a thesis on the integration of the European aerospace industry, Silvio has held a number of senior management positions in sales and marketing, particularly across the aviation and automotive sectors. He has been directly involved in the tyre industry since 1983, including as Australian CEO for a major manufacturer.

Silvio worked closely with government and other key stakeholders to develop the Product Stewardship Scheme, which culminated in the granting of ACCC authorisations in April 2013.
